TESTIMONIALS

Since taking piano lessons my daughter has started coming out of her shyness and when asked to play a piece in church she happily obliges.
My daughter loves taking piano lessons and since she has learned the notes she looks forward to learning more! Amanda teaches children in a way that wakes up their curiosity, boosts their confidence and makes them yearn for more. I don't even have to tell her to practice any more, she does it on her own!
Amanda......It's so true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Amanda,
First, I just wanted to say that you did a wonderful job with the girls choir on Saturday. I know they were a little shy at first, but they gave a really beautiful performance, and I know that was due to your hard work. So thank you so much for everything you did with the girls, I really appreciate it.
Thank you so much for all your hard work with the girls' choir. I'll talk to you again soon.
M. Adams Choir Teacher San Dimas High School
I would like to tell you about the awesome job that Amanda Ramsey did with the San Dimas High School Choirs for our Spring Concert 2006. I have known Amanda for a number of years through her niece. She has come in time to time to help us with the Gospel style of singing. At this Spring Concert I was concerned because a large amount of our music was classical in nature and we needed some contrast to spice things up. Originally I wanted Amanda to help with the gospel tune "O Happy Day" but the arrangement was to difficult for the choir. I asked Amanda if she would be willing to teach us another simple Gospel chorus. She is so adaptable and said, "Sure, no problem." She quickly started working with my students on a chorus. The students loved it and got into it right away. Amanda worked on style, pronunciation, proper vocal production and emotion and feel of the sound. She accompanied the choir on piano which made the students respond even more.
The Spring Concert was held in at Christ First Baptist Church of Covina. It began with the choir's accompanist playing a classical organ piece on the churches pipe organ. Immediately Amanda started her rhythmic playing on the piano and the choir processed down the center aisle rocking, clapping, singing and walking to the rhythm. The soloist and choir sang the response chorus. It was loud and impressive as all 50+ students of both the Chamber Singers and the Concert Choir sang with the hearts and voices. When they finished the audience erupted in loud applause that lasted a long time. It was the perfect opening to a wonderful concert. The audience and the singers were energized from that point on.
I am impressed with Amanda Ramsey's ability as a musician and her ability to work well with high school students. I look forward to working with her in the future and would highly recommend her.
